Submit your work to The Front's Annual Shorts Festival : Fertile Ground

It’s The Front’s Fourth Annual Film Shorts Festival!  This year we are including both short videos as well as video installations. We invite artists to submit work to be considered for this boundary pushing presentation. Selected works will be exhibited within our unique gallery space. All exhibiting artists will be included in the festival catalog and in The Front’s online archive. One outstanding work will receive a cash prize for “best in show.”

Theme:
Submit videos, 10min or less, and video installations that visually or conceptually address this year’s theme: "Cultivation". When our environment is toxic, what do we do to amend our conditions and improve our circumstances? The idiom, “Growth takes work,” can be applied to many areas of our lives and our societies. Please submit videos that approach this idea, whether it be through growing a garden, fostering relationships, engaging in our communities, or taking political action.  More abstract interpretations are also encouraged.
